You'd give the same look 😒 if you left a warm and sunny Seattle for two weeks and came back to full-fledged fall weather. Missing the Philippines but happy to be back. 😬🍂⛈🍁 📷: @soulbreathingphotography
There’s never an easy way to say goodbye. I feel extremely lucky to have spent time with you two months ago with my friends here in Seattle. It was a treat and one I’ll treasure forever.
My first vivid memory of you was when I was around 7 or 8 and I would visit Ayala every weekend. You would sneak me out to grab ice cream from the clubhouse or give me chocolates and sweets past my 8pm curfew. Homie (my dad) was strict on me when I was younger and you kept finding ways to go against him. He had a soft spot in his heart for you (like everyone else that knew you) so there were never any repercussions. Always a rule breaker but that infectious smile and charisma got you out of any trouble!
You were known as the partier in the family, the one with all the connections, the person that always guaranteed whoever he was with a good time. You never disappointed. But you’re more than that. You were a loving cousin, brother, son, and a best friend to many. The courage, fight, and love you’ve shown these past few months is something we will always hold on to. You will forever be in our hearts and minds. I love you Kuya Emil. Cheers one last time. #RIP#fckcancer
