Decided today was the day I hung something on the bare walls of this place. Mighta went over board. Oh well... boys rooms should look like their souls... cluttered and full of hidden treasures.

He has a little cold. So his nose is all pink and precious. We spent all day yesterday raking our yard and he just chilled out in his snowsuit.

Outtakes: these get harder every month.

Nine Months: when I had Foster I remember clearly thinking nine months was so far away and would be the absolute end to his newborn stage. I was wrong... it was so close. Sadness. But also what a fun time! He’s getting so expressive and playing with communication through his own set of signs and grunts. He’s learned to point at things he wants and is very close to “mama” and “papa”. He blows raspberries and has a cute hulk move where he balls his fists and scrunches his face in passion. We’ve discovered he has some excema patches, so sad on little sweet baby skin. Working on clearing that up. He’s eating just about anything we give him (still no teeth). Food is treating him well and he’s growing out of his 9-12m clothing. The problem is I’m not ready for him to be out of onesie and romper styles and all my 12-18m are separates! Ugh. Baby clothes forever please. Moving like a little cyclone. Crawling, pulling up on things and climbing everywhere. I haven’t had any other climbers so this will be a new adventure. He still isn’t sleeping through the night, but he’s getting easier to settle and has been known to do 4/5hr stretches now.... yes. That’s actually an improvement.
He’s the joy of our home.
