Every morning, this little girl insists on snuggling me and every morning I'm thankful for it.
Well, this week's off to a good start.
Someone didn't like the storm yesterday and needed to snuggle trough it
I feel like this is Lucy's album cover pose. You know like, this is her first album after she ditched the lesser talented members of the group and went out on her own. This album is a more introspective Lucy. She's grown up and has more to say in her music. You know what I mean? That's the kind of vibe she's throwing out there in this pic. Either that or she's just annoyed I took yet another photo of her. I can't really tell.
Took some time away from work this afternoon to hang out with my little angel face.
Whenever I talk about Star Wars, Kristen gives me this same reaction. 😴
There's no benefit to eating beef. You don't need it. And to prove my point, I want to show you one of the items I eat regularly. Watch this video and see how it stacks up against your BS hamburger. There's really no need to kill.
My little baby turns 5 today! This is the photo I saw that made me hop in a car and drive up to the Bay Area at the last minute because I knew I needed her in my life. Boy was that an understatement at the time. This little girl has brought more joy to my life than I ever expected at a time where happiness is hard to come by. She's saved me on more than one occasion and I can honestly say that I wouldn't be here without her. Happy Birthday to my dear amazing Lucy. There has never been a sweeter angel on Earth.
Today I celebrate 4 years being Vegan. For those of you who know me well, today is a bigger deal for me than my birthday. This is the day I changed my life for the better. I took a stand for what was right. When you're faced with the truth, you either run from it and go on living your dumb selfish life or you change yourself because that's how you ultimately will change the world. Today marks 4 years walking with the truth about how food makes it to our plates and refusing to participate in the system that destroys God's creation on a daily basis. The hybrid you have is a joke if you use it to drive to the store and buy meat, eggs and cheese. Show me a Vegan with a gas guzzler and I'll show you someone saving the planet more than you. Bottom line, there's no such thing as dairy cows, eggs kill more animals than steak, and the air you breathe is crappier far more because of your taste for hamburgers than gasoline. Four years ago I watched a piglet picked up by its back legs and slammed on a cement floor to kill it. Why? For some reason it was "mmm bacon" worthy. He was lucky. He died fast. The rest live horrible existences because of you. The money you spend funds unimaginable wickedness and you all just think this is goofy hippie bullshit. You're wrong. I'm right. History will prove it. If you don't think one person can make a difference then it sucks to be you. Because the rest of us are taking a stand, refusing to participate in all that's evil. Take the step, refuse to participate in this horrific system. I did it and so can you. This is is my scoreboard for the last four years. You better believe I made a impact! I'm an outspoken Christian Vegan. And if you have a problem with that then find your nearest unfollow button. Cause 4 years is just my warm up.
Here's a trick I've been using for years to stomp out my depression. For every lie my depression tells me, I write the contradictory statement down on a note card. I then hide these cards around my home. Whenever I come across one, I repeat the statement on the card both confidently and with determination in my voice. ⠀
'Fake it till you make it' is a real thing and it all starts with self-talk. So whatever you don't believe about yourself, write that down on a card and put it somewhere you'll find it regularly. It won't happen overnight, but eventually, some day down the road, you'll finally believe that stuff and this little trick will fully pay off. I've been rewiring my brain through self-talk for years this way. It works, do yourself a favor and try it. #depression#positivevibes#positivity#inspiration#sadrunner#depressionhack
“I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love. For me, they are the role model for being alive.” ~ Gilda Radner
I always love spending time with this angel.
