One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
Well for those of you who knew her, you know what a loss it is for all of us. Never a harsh word, always smiling, always helpful, always kind. always faithful. I know these are the words we often use to describe our departed loved ones but in all seriousness, my mom was probably one of the nicest people I've ever known (sorry @sailingzissou and @dfootay ,tough competition fellas). In the end, despite the struggles of terminal ALS she made it to the end of the 18 months the doctors thought she'd live, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed all 23,758 days she managed to spend on the earth. Funny that she died on the same day as Hugh Hefner, I don't think you could find a more polar opposite. My mom never drank, never smoked, and really never had any major issues. I bet she'd attribute it to her faith and family. Lucky for Hugh, I bet he rides in through the pearly gates on Mom's coattails. She always prayed for everyone and everything to be all right, and for her I bet it finally is.

Believe the hype. It was #totality worth it. "When there is something in your nature that makes you sit and dream, of the wind and the pine trees and the murmuring of the stream; when that something keeps a'calling till you feel you want to go, start your journey, travel westward, to the land called 'Idaho'." #eclipse#usa#idaho#sawtooths#lakelife#mountains
