There's very few things I've missed from 'reality' on this trip so far. My friends, a good negroni and the ocean. It's good to have one of those things back at last.

Being sucked into the Horizontal Falls was a surreal experience. More like ocean rapids (yes @buzz), these 'falls' are created by huge 10-13m tides that suck the water through the gaps. At its highest point creating a drop of over 3 metres due to the sheer force and volume of the water trying to get through.

I'm not sure if using a tiny person is an accurate way to show scale. But mum seems to be having fun at Cape Leveque regardless..
