Tap is broken on @timhortons' pinpad forcing me (gasp!) use my actual fingers to complete the transaction. Anybody know if there's a process for cleaning these disgusting things? Are restaurants required to maintain a certain level of cleanliness? I'm so curious now!
Attention foodies: pork rinds do not make for a good cracker substitute with Boursin. I learned the hard way; if you're all out of crackers, may I suggest a spoon instead.
It's days like today that remind me of the pain my NYC brothers and sisters and their families endured during and after 9/11 attacks. I'm also reminded of the resilient, helpful, and compassionate nature of the *majority* of Americans as they come together during major events to help each other get through tough times, no matter the name of their destructor, Osama bin Laden, Harvey, Katrina, Irma, even its own President... the American spirit is alive and well in its citizens. Much love to my US family today and every day.
Crown moulding progress. I forgot how much I hate installing this stuff. But so far, things are looking pretty good!
New saw. Back in action!
I've heard of Chicago style, but had never considered that Detroit had their own stye of pizza. Growing up in Windsor, and considering Detroit was across the river, I wonder if that's the style I'm used to.
Close call today with some aluminum shrapnel and my face. While cutting some crown moulding on my saw, the blade chewed through the aluminum fence and sprayed bits of metal at my face, chest, and arm. I've always thought this fence was in a bad place and this would happen someday. Today's that day!
Sadly, I think this means I need a new saw as the damage appears permanent.
When I'm having a rough day, I can always count on a sleep snuggle hug from this furry fella.
