Pixel 2 camera with built in editing for selfie portraits. The front facing camera is the bo diggity. It even does a great job of highlighting the small gray hairs popping out of my head. 👵
The camera on the #pixel2 is glorious. The added #googlelens feature makes for fun exploring. I'm all OVER #chicago today and the battery is solid and I've been app flipping like a kangaroo.
Amazing workhorse of a device. #google
I see you #chicagoriver ! 🌊🏢
I spend quite a bit of quiet time on a daily basis reading and understanding the new Common Core math. My kid doesn't know that I do this, it's like my own little secret.
She brings home her assignments and I go in a corner and look up YouTube videos to make sure I am following the system.
You often read that Generation X has the potential to be more active in politics, in government and even creating startups that will help fix more of the THINGS. I'm noticing there so much stress surrounding My Generation when it comes to life, finances and family that there doesn't seem to be the push to learn and do. I'm seeing this more more in social media platforms and digital marketing in general. It's as if people are plateauing in their careers and wondering what to do next but much of what to do next means learning something from scratch.. putting in the time to do pretty detailed tasks that aren't considered strategic or forward-thinking is the only way to do it. Especially for people who want to change careers or build a new business. Less complaining. More doing.

I grew up as a first generation kid, wondering when someone would run for office with a funky name like mine. More and more 1st Gen kids are doing just that. Today, I met one of them. @abdul4michigan was in Chicago meeting with local Arab Americans and I had the luck to be able to listen in. At 32, Abdul is one of the most passionate and knowledge people I met, with real solutions to help Michigan. He's going to make a fantastic Governor. This was a double perk for me because the guy understands what it's like growing up 'on the East side' in a highly ethnic metro Detroit community.
