Medicated thoughts and images from my journey with Hodgkin's Lymphoma...
We survived the great winter plague with a crate of blueberries and tissue that would make all the members of Sam’s Club blush. That and some good old fashioned moxie. Happy to say we’re back on (in) the blocks. Didn’t even puke in the Pit, or on a kid, or on her new John Prine “Daddy’s Litttle Pumpkin” onesie! #WereGoingDowntownWereGonnaRattleSomebodysCage#LetsGetSnaughty#JohnPrine
An absolute joy to spend time with my friend Ethan and visit our mutual friend Gavin and his wife in Boise’s ICU unit. If you got space for a prayer or a bit of meditation, send out some love and energy to Gavin and his family as they fight Gavin’s cmv and work to get him in a clinical trial for his 5th bought with Cancer. Their family inspires me and they need a crowd of friends and strangers to lift them up now. Let’s get lifting. Stop scrolling and get lifting. You won’t regret it.
Karen de Vries, here’s my Day 5 response to your challenge.
Seven B&W photos of my life.
Challenge someone new each day.
Day 5 Challenge: @emilyghoekema (Em, I was doing this on Facebook but I thought I’d come over here and see if you were interested? It took me about ten days to finish so no need to rush).
Evie is trying to help me hack in and access my medical records. These kids pick this stuff up so fast. #kidhackersclub
We Light the Night because the darkness is as deep as it is long, and when each of us holds their light high, we can journey its expanse together.

Dad took a bit too long, and got a little too frustrated, inflating the pool with the Bosu ball inflation tool, so Evie didn't last too long once the festivities began. The S.S. Green Toys monitors the waters until we wade in again tomorrow.
