Happy New Year on the east coast and abroad...from Long Beach, California.
2017...your days are numbered! 2018...I can’t wait to meet you. Ending the year with my parents in Laughlin and starting the first week of the new year with The Bigger Yes w/ @laura_mckowen and Go Summit w/ @danesanders. Grateful for the memories & lessons of the past year but oh so very hopeful for the new year and all that it brings. What are your best nine from 2017? #bestnine2017
Such a stunning sunset tonight. Missing my family in WA, TX, & NV but grateful for my SoCal family. Love to you all!!! 😘#charlabluesunsets
There’s finally a chill in the air and it’s feeling like a SoCal Christmas. One more day of work to go and then two weeks of vacation!!!
Love the winter sunsets in SoCal. Always a nice reminder to be grateful after a long day.
It’s Friday...the Christmas music is playing...candles lit...and I’m so happy this week is behind me. And yay for printed Christmas cards that are starting to arrive in the mail. Please send me yours! Even though I haven’t been shooting...and you might have hired another photographer...I’d still love to see your beautiful families. It’s my favorite part of the day when i get home from work to find actual personal mail in the box. Please and thank you!!!
3rd grade has been rough. As a parent and teacher myself, you don’t ever want to get the email that your kid did something wrong. But I did and we’re dealing with it. I know in my heart this child is such an amazing little girl...but she has made some poor choices lately. It’s breaking my heart and I can’t help but question my parenting. I pray for the day we look back at this as a growing experience and hopefully a turning point. It’s easy to share the highlights of our life...but this is real life. We all make mistakes and they DO NOT define us. They are character builders and change makers. Life continues to be brutiful (brutal + beautiful...taken from my shero @glennondoyle )...but I would be okay with it being a little less brutal. Please and thank you. And I love you little girl... #mybrooklynann
