Take after take at 3am in the freezing cold. Zero complaints. Easily the most professional actor I’ve ever worked with. Thanks @someplacenicetv for tracking down the last pair of white lebrons in town for this kid. Well done, Josiah! Now somebody get this kid an agent.... #childrenswish
A little over a month ago my cousin Chloé committed suicide. I’ve struggled with whether or not to discuss this publicly, but I think it’s best that you know that this is a part of my history now. So now you know. Suicide is sudden, painful and ugly, and the guilt can be haunting. Trying to remember the sound of her laugh, or the last conversation we had has been difficult, but wishing (foolishly) that I could’ve made a more substantial difference in her life is one of my deepest regrets.
It’s never too late to be kind, to reach out, to make that tiny bit of positive change in someone’s life.
Okay, real talk over.
Day 644. Happy birthday, Nanny!!
Second, i’ve been waddling around for two days since running my first marathon. #stwm2017 I got my ass completely kicked, but still managed to cross the finish line in one piece. It’s been five years since I started running and the experience has been completely life changing. If you’ve ever considered running, but hate running, or think you can’t because your knees are bad or whatnot, I’m here to tell you it’s possible to run a marathon on a diet of spaghetti, beer and the occasional Belmont. I wouldn’t recommend it, but I’m living proof.
Thanks to @thedavidquinn, who helped get me to where I am today, despite myself. And thanks to @realestateheart for forcing me out of bed every wednesday morning, and then being there at my lowest point in the race with @summer.majeski to cheer me on.
I can’t thank my wife @morgannightshade enough for coming out on her birthday (!) with a screaming kid to cheer me on down to the finish line, along with my mom and dad.
Time to train for real – next race is in May!
First of all, a belated happy birthday to my beautiful wife @morgannightshade. This woman spent the day looking after our kid so that I could drag my ass through a marathon. Happy Birthday, Meggie! I love you!!!
