this may look like a mess, but it’s actually pretty cool. my gramps was a harbor pilot when he lived in #kaohsiung and the streets around the port are lined with scrap shops like this. the guys that work these shops are crazy talented; they salvage ship parts and, no matter what make or country of origin, restore and resell the parts. meanwhile, my iphone becomes slower and i buy a new one. #soft

one of the only photos of me thanks to @heathermariezy. a short but amazing stop in #taipei, this is pretty much all i did: wander night markets, buy random stuff, and eat everything. thanks to everyone i met up with! on to #kaohsiung!!
prob my fave pic so far in #taipei. this guy sells and fixes watches in a tiny stall and has to climb barefoot over the table to get in and out each time. he was shy at first but my auntie and i told him he had to be in it for this shot to work. he said the picture was cool.
