    Hey look, rhinos!

So Amanda has been on ten game drives, said these were the best two she has been on because the animals looked healthy, had enough space to roam, yet we still got to see them all. I feel fortunate to have come here first!

Too many photos from Cape Town, had to start sharing. Taken on a quiet Saturday afternoon. We brought our "costumes" (slang for bathing suits) but it was much too cold to swim.

Hristo, a friend and coworker, trying a Hungarian wine on the grounds of the Buda Castle in Budapest, Hungary a couple weeks ago.

Thanks to @dgwolff, we knew about the Budapest Wine Festival one day in advance. After six hours of tasting various Hungarian wines, I am excited to drink wine in Europe once again, and feel confident that Hristo now knows how to describe the kind of wine he enjoys!

Last week, four of us jumped off the tour bus for lunch in a small fishing village near the south of the island of Malta. I ate a red snapper that had been caught that morning, accompanied by capers and a dark mustard sauce. Afterwards, we walked along the waterfront, and I took this photo of the calm, colorful harbor.

Last week I departed from Chiang Mai to explore Europe for a few weeks. Thailand left me feeling emotional. I miss my friends, and the feeling of home it provided.

I took this photo while having drinks at an outdoor bar just southeast of the Old City. I visited this bar twice over the summer. I fondly recall the taste of SangSom and Coke, getting bitten by mosquitos, and the sounds of a cover band. Maybe another time I could take that canoe out on a quiet paddle.

We paid up for an amazing boat trip to Phang Nga Bay. Was worth it because the company we went through pays double to their employees by forcing customers to purchase tickets directly through them. Over the course of the trip we: took boats through a cave into a mangrove forest in the middle of an island, swam from the boat to another island and then jumped with a rope swing, chilled on a remote beach for an hour, explored another set of caves, and saw James Bond Island!!! Great day. This was the view on the way to the islands.

My best friend and cousin, Corey, and his wife Alli, visited us in Thailand for a whole week! Captured this moment after an adventurous afternoon of getting to and exploring the Wat Pho temple. Took a metro, a tuk tuk, and a water taxi to get there. Ended up spending less than normal because we were con-ned into taking the tuk tuk to a private boat company, then walked out of their establishment and then down the street to the public taxi. Take that!

Night shot looking down Sukhumvit in Bangkok. I took a photo from the same spot last October when I was last visiting, but this time I had a new lens and decided to try my luck at night photography. First time getting traffic lines, was a super fun shoot! Had to use velcro strap my camera to the side of the overpass, my hands hovered around the camera in case it decided to move haha.

@dominiquenikole Hi! I'd drink a Moxie. Take a photo in front of the giant boot at llbean in Freeport. Watch the sunrise atop caddilac mountain. Cape pier chowder house for shrimp/lobster rolls, off the beaten path and literally on the water. Eat at duckfat in Portland for lunch. Have fun!

Happy birthday to @meredal!!! Took this photo on a Saturday wandering through the Chatachuk weekend market in Bangkok back in April. Largest market I have ever been to. We got lost multiple times. Was over 100Β°F and sunny. Ended up eating squid on a stick, drinking out of a coconut, getting foot massages in an air conditioned area for a break, and on the way back home took this shot of Meredith looking down the highway lined with cherry blossoms. Seems very odd to me that they were blossoming in the height of the drought, but I'll take it!

First time eating squid on a stick. You choose the whole squid, then they throw it over an open flame. Once it's hot they then cut it up with scissors, put into a plastic bag, drizzle some sauce on it, throw a couple sticks in for you to pick out pieces, and you're good to go! Tasted delicious.
