A little family time this morning.  Taught the kids how to make roasted garlic and tomatoes to top the eggs they fried on their own.  Give a kid some food, feed them for a day.  Teach a kid to cook, give them the gift and satisfaction of feeding others for life.

In July myself and a few brave souls decided we were gonna try to row 100,000m for the month.  With this terrrrrrible workout I wrapped up my 100,000. 
Over the course of the month I became very comfortable - confident even - with rowing. I'm sure I'm not ready to join the USA row team but I know I approach the rower with much more understanding now. 
From this I've decided to use monthly challenges to help others in our community take on their weaknesses or improve their strengths. 
Every month we will decide on a goal and devise a challenge or a program baked around it.  Some months might be as simple as "row 100,000 meters" and others will have full blown programming with progressions and scales. 
For august our goals will be to increase short and long range cardiovascular endurance, find comfortability and understanding of a different piece of equipment, tackle something I know is a goat to many, and best of all - shed some lbs. 
Our training tool for August.  The airdyne.  Join me for a fun month. $20 buy in will get you the following:

1 InBody scan at start of month. 
Month programming. 
Access to programming and results tracking. 
Private fb group to discuss the work and results etc. 
1 InBody scan at the end of the month. 
During the month you should come to find much more peace of mind on the airdyne as we will be using it. A lot. $20 participation fee will 100% go into a gym equipment fund which will be used to buy more equipment.  If we can get 30 ppl in this challenge I'll order a new airdyne immediately. :) Link to register is in the bio.
