Fun Fact: my parents and older siblings tell me that when I was about 4 or 5 years old I used to steal my sister's shiny shoes + white socks and my dad's fedora & glove and start dancing in front of the TV whenever he would come on ---> #MichaelJackson#GOAT#hbd#proofonVHSsomewhere 😂🌜🚶🏾🕺🏻
Happy #Vipassana 😌👃🏼🐒👤💙👣📍
This was truly one of the most difficult yet enlightening experiences of my life. Definitely better than I expected. I am completely grateful that I was given the opportunity to join, learn and experience Vipassana & make new friendships along the journey. I look forward to its continual practice in everyday life and sincerely recommend this 10-day retreat to anyone. 🙏🏼
#tbt 2011 w/ @v_bros ---> Training and seeing old friends/ familiar faces has always been icing on top of visiting family out here in Vegas. This was springbreak 2011 and my second or third time training at @robertdrysdalejj. —Thinking back this was also around 8 months after my crash when I just started to train again.
My parents and the doctors never wanted me to return to a high contact combat sport where compression, weight, throws, and oxygen deprivation are all aspects of the game. But I already knew in my hospital bed 8 months before in August 2010 "fuckkk that 😬" Karate or boxing headgear was too big or wrestling headgear didn't cover enough. — I discovered that I could wear rugby headgear to protect my noggin while training and was ecstatic to tell my them I found a "way" to keep on training. And I did! — Do what you love anyways and never listen to anyone who says you can't. You haven't really failed until you stop trying. Always grateful to be on the mats 🤘🏼💀💙
