Last stop on our visit, Kamel Hashlmon’s new tahini factory Al Yasmeen. Here you can see how the sesame is roasted and then slowly milled using Syrian basalt stones (the mass of the basalt keeps the milling temperature low). His tahini is exceptionally smooth and velvety and his halva is perfectly balanced. Go now, their open for visitors.
