You guyssssss. We are only a little more than $500 from our goal! @aliverescue is donating 10% back to @livelikeroofoundation if we hit it. Let’s get it done tonight so I can only worry about how miserable I will be on Sunday when I am freezing. Link in profile!! Thank youuuu
hospice, special needs, seniors.
Yes! Zoe Kharasch started @seniorpetsunited in 2016 when the shelter told her she should "wait for the puppies to come in" when she inquired about a beat up, scraggly dog. She ended up saving him. Newman. From that day on, she made it her mission to save the ones no one else wanted.

Very special thank you to the person that donated 25 high quality sleeping bags. The homeless needed them. Adventures with @baldmikesees and @ksgerali are always enlightening and inspiring and today we were able to meet a few people and hear their stories and put names with faces. They are so thankful. We could not help them without your donations. We are trying to help each individual in ways they specifically need it and Saturday we have a special surprise. So stay tuned.
Also, to the honking, giving the finger, swearing people as we helped the homeless-karma!
@livelikeroofoundation is my soul, but there are days when it crushes me. Almost to a point where I want to give up. Then I get a video of Angus, who reminds me how important it is to go on. Love you buddy. I hope you win this fight. Sending so much love. #LiveLikeRoo#LiveLikeAngus
“Hospice animals actually empower me.” Tomorrow’s “Raise the Woof” guest is Zoe Kharasch of @seniorpetsunited. She has some amazing insight.
Rest in peace sweet girl. Hard not to be angry at whoever let her get so ill, but we tried to give her a new life and she had some great hours. Not much else is known right now, but we lost Josie today. Brutal. 💔
Wallie is so loved. It is so amazing to see a dog you helped to save in a perfect home. She goes for check-ups once a month, but is officially cancer-free. The lymphoma popped up out of nowhere, but they caught it in time. Chemo worked and the only reason she is alive is because of generous donors of @livelikeroofoundation. I started to tear up kissing her goodbye. To save her life twice is pretty amazing. Thank you to @noellegulden and @nlolchicago - Chicago for being there for her and her family when they needed help. Love you Bobor Family.
Josie is out of the vet and off to @astridgetsayard’s house tonight for some TLC! Then she will head to a permanent foster. Thank you so much Jen Freels, @bowwowrevolution and Hinsdale Animal Hospital for saving her life! @livelikeroofoundation covered all of her bill and I am so in love with her!
Today I am going to visit Wallie, who was Wonton at Chicago Animal Care and Control when I met her. @nlolchicago rescued her and she found an amazing family. Then she got cancer. My heart sank. Something about a dog the comes from a kill shelter getting ill really makes my heart break. We have been paying for her chemo and she is responding! I am so excited to see her. We will be live on @livelikeroofoundation’s facebook so you can see her later today!
