Waves crashing and residing in all directions, the breeze, and the taste of the sea.
Bill and his debt collection agency operate with the premise that their clients owe then money precisely because they don't have enough. The typical approach to debt collection is to browbeat until you squeeze whatever you can out of them. An outward mindset on the other hand begins with thinking about these people and what they're up against. With this approach, Bill and his people began collecting debt not by squeezing clients for money but by figuring out how they could help them make money. They began brainstorming to see how they could best help their clients get jobs. The employees began writing resumes, looking out for job opportunities, filling up applications, and scheduling job interviews. From there they began helping in other ways and any headache in their clients' lives became an opportunity to help. #BookAndBraid for #July2017
One day late. Feel free to borrow books from me!
There's something magical about sunrises and sunsets.
Things are always created twice: first in the workshop of the mind and then, in reality. When you learn to take control of your thoughts and vividly imagine all that you desire, you begin to unlock the true potential to create what you deserve. #bookandbraid for #june2017
Thought I'd lost this book halfway through the month but it was just in another bag. Minutes late, and failed skeleton braids but still!
For curiosity, interest, and a longing to know more and more types of experience are the qualities that stimulate a desire to know about life and to understand it. They provide the zest that makes it possible to meet any situation as an adventure. With it, there is no situation, however limiting, physically or economically, which cannot be filled to the brim with interest. #BookAndBraid for #May2017

Sometimes we just feel it in our bones that a particular choice is right. We don't know why we know, but we just do. We usually call that instinct. But this book describes that as the adaptive unconscious, and apparently, as we can teach ourselves to think logically, we can also teach ourselves to make better snap judgements. #BookAndBraid#April2017#malcolmgladwell#braid#braids
