I made this red curry carrot and coconut soup from @joythebaker and you should, too. So easy, so much flavor with a kick of spice, and perfectly warming on these chilly days.🥕🥥🌶

Gnocchi + pesto + Parmesan + broccoli + mushrooms = better than mac and cheese, just sayin’ 💁🏻‍♀️(but basically the same thing)

No-bake chocolate peanut butter bars 🥜🍫that taste like a Reese’s but are easier to make than peanut butter cups. 😍

I might have started eating this homemade apple butter straight out of the jar...but it’s just as good on toast or swirled with yogurt😉

Who knew cioppino (a tomato based stew made with fish) was so easy to make?! 🤷🏻‍♀️ This one features shrimp, bay scallops, whitefish and copious amounts of parsley and came together in 15 minutes. Dinner: done ✔️

I made a Thanksgivingy skillet this morning with bacon, Brussels, cranberries, & potatoes tossed with sage and topped with 🍳. It was delightful even if Alex picked all his cranberries out 🤦🏻‍♀️

A tall stack of @kodiakcakes, 🥞 fresh fruit, and some maple pepper bacon to start the weekend off right. You’re supposed to carb load in support of those running the NY marathon, right? 😜

Have you ever roasted radishes? If not, you’re missing out. They’re tasty and far less bitey than their fresher selves. I suggest roasting them in a skillet with lots of other things, but when don’t I? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Here’s a little secret: I make my own ghee. It’s not that hard and it saves me a lot of money. I’ve also learned that straining it through my fine mesh @elliesbest bag is the perfect last step so that the ghee is perfectly golden without any pieces settling at the bottom. Simply heat your butter over low heat and let it bubble up twice. This takes about 10 minutes, any longer and it’ll have a sweeter brown butter taste. Remove it from the heat, let it cool, and strain it! You can use code “jburtzos” to save on an @elliesbest bag of our own!
