Hosted a learning session on systems-thinking this afternoon. Learning more about how teams learn & how systems operate. Collaboration, data driven decision making, and innovation are all crucial elements; however, organizations are often inadvertently designed to limit these practices. #leadership#learning
I'm learning that #leadership#development is most effective when focused on developing the whole person. A tension exists unless people are willing to look inward and motivate themselves to #change. The next 6-months will be spent with a group diving deep into 3 areas: Leading Self, Leading Others, and Leading the Organization.
