Missed the meteor shower last night.
To the brave souls weathering the cold, I see you.
Sometimes you have to appreciate a good winter sunset, even at 20 degrees ❄️❄️❄️
#TBT to my very first Part 107 remote pilot gig a year ago. 2017 was definitely a whirlwind of excitement, professional growth, and change. Can’t wait to see what this year brings.
“A mother’s love knows no bounds.” I captioned a photo of my own daughter and I a few years back with that phrase. I love this photo by @dronediva (shared with her permission) and encourage you to check out @djiphotoacademy - especially if you’re in #Tennessee this week. I’ll be at the #Detroit event in less than two weeks and can’t wait to learn new #photography skills.
I was hoping to get a wider range of drone photos in during our visit. However, with the exception of New Year’s Eve where flying wasn’t allowed, the weather hasn’t been the greatest. It’s not like we won’t be back soon, though. Hopefully I’ll have more to share in the future unless, by some awesome miracle, we get clear skies tomorrow - the last day of our journey.
Happy New Years Day. It was roughly 4 degrees Celsius outside. A few dozen brave souls waded in to Stonehaven Harbour’s waters for a brief dip.
Only a few days left in 2017. What a transformative year. I still can’t believe I picked up and moved somewhere new but a change of pace, and lifestyle, was long overdue. Hidden treasures like the Cherry Point Farmers Market are one of the many reasons I chose to make Michigan my new home. I look forward to exploring it even more in 2018.
Whenever @fromwhereidrone asks if they can feature a photo of yours, the answer should always be a resounding “yes!” They showcase the absolute best in drone photography and videography. I am humbled to be in the company of so many incredible, inspiring artists. Thank you, @dirka! Made my Holiday season that much happier.
I’ve been busy with work and all the school events/Holiday parties imaginable. So, I’m sharing highlights from 2017. I certainly hope I can make it back here someday, it is truly a magical place.
