HOW TO KICK ASS WITH YOUR FIRST JOB
-
Starting a new Instagram series on my page #HowChiuWantToBe to help people with some life tips that i deem useful. I will post relevant photos, but if there aren't any i might recycle photos from my old trips with a fancy title head. You gotta do what you gotta do yo.
-
I am by no means a billionaire, but I've been through some shit which I wish I could have avoided so here's me paying it forward to make sure that no one else has to fall into a bucket of crap like I did.
-
On to today's topic -- HOW to kick ass with your first job
-
Always, always go into work fresh with the intention to dominate. Don't be one of those moody and dready people. Sounds annoyingly optimistic? That doesn't sound like Keith. I'll get to that.
-
Being a realist, you are perfectly aware that life is not always good or bad, black and white. This knowledge provides you with perspective better than others (imo) -- you know that life sucks, but you'd rather do something about it than to dread about it.
-
Which brings me back to my intro, don't whine about your salary at least for the first year or so. I made the same mistake. Now that I looked back, I'm thankful that I was paid low, because it gave me more reason to fight for what I want -- a higher wage, a position which provides me with more power.
-
Am I saying that a low wage is good? Fuck no. You deserve better. But YOU also need to know that you need to prove yourself. Don't be one of those idiots that go around throwing your degree. Please, other than the civil sector in, your education is nothing but a piece of paper. People will tear you down if you're not careful.
-
In my next post, I'll talk more about things you can do NOW other than an advanced education to prime you for a powerful job slightly later in life. Till then!
-
Oh, please remember to like and share. I would appreciate it. I know I'm an asshole but I still care-ish about others at the end of the day. Thanks!!!

Turn your volume up! 30 second teaser of my Osaka Vlog. I don't think my b roll edits are fantastic. But I like to think that for a newbie, it's good enough. ;) #KCtravels #USJ #Osaka #Japan

14 days, 3 cities, and a huge credit card bill. Personally, I love my privacy, so I prefer hotels over hostels, this probably led to the bulk of my expenditure. I enjoyed Japan. I'm still not a huge fan of the food here BUT I really love the people here. They are so polite. Will I ever come back to Japan? Definitely. I'm so tempted to book tickets again right now..... #KCtravels #Japan

My dad is cooler than yours. #KCtravels #Hokkaido Also, wanted to upload this pic because right behind us is the commencement place of the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics, and I fell flat trying to put on my snowboard at least 5 times.
