Teacher. Runner. Pet obsessed. Creator of internet things. Currently taking a sabbatical from social media.
This past month has brought a lot of changes, both personally and professionally. It's made me realize I want to spend less time on screens and more time in the world. So I'm going to take a little hiatus from social media and focus on the now. See ya later, Internet friends.
"There is a story, always ahead of you. Barely existing. Only gradually do you attach yourself to it and feed it. You discover the carapace that will contain and test your character. You will find in this way the path of your life." -Michael Ondaatje
Today could not make for a prettier run.
I call this masterpiece "Tiny Cat Sleeps Part 18"
Spent the past 24 hours adventuring with these exhausting goofballs on an incredible educational and historical tour of Haiti. For most of the kids in the program, it was their first time ever leaving Port au Prince.
Hiya Haiti. You're sure looking pretty tonight.
A nice breeze, speckled light, and a few moments of sweet sweet quiet.
So there's this pretty lady who got her Master's today, and I'm the lucky duck who gets to be married to her!! 🎉🎉
I hope at the end of my life, when asked about perfect days, I can still say that they are rainy mornings at coffeeshops, nestled in the trees with the company of a good book and dear friend.
Happy Birthday to this sweet one! Thanks for always being down to jump into swimming holes, pick blackberries, and have airport burgers and beer at 10am. Love you friend.
I love books and this little one is my favorite of them all. It has written many stories over the past ten years, from witnessing @caitlinlollar's first plane ride on a trip to Switzerland to roaming around the Peruvian countryside with @allie_wonders. Today I nostalgically say goodbye as I trade it in for a clean, blank one, but am excited to see what adventures the next decade brings.
