Oh Ace or Asa James or Bub or Gooby or Asa bear or Turkey or Da baby, whatever we may call you at any given moment I hope you know you bring this little family of ours so much joy. He turned 18 months just two days ago and it’s hard letting go of all things baby because he could be my last and I just wish I could bottle him up and keep him small forever.
My favorite kind of mornings.
Milkshakes and board games while little A naps. I hope these are some of the things he always remembers about being a child.
Book 2 of 2018 // WILTING, FALLING, ROOTING, RISING + BLOOMING.
One snoozing + one pretending.
Breakfast today ✨
A delicious treat.
I really like them.
Book 1 of 2018 // beautifully gut wrenching. I used to share a lot more of the books I’ve read and sort of stopped. But books bring me so much joy and I want to share that with y’all. One of my intentions for this year is to spend less time mindlessly scrolling the internet which, for me, seems to have gotten out of control and more time with books. Memoirs are my favorite and this one was a good one to start out this year.
Pretty doors down ally ways in Seattle.
Still my baby. Yesterday Asa fell asleep on the way to pick up Atlas from school and continued to sleep while I got him out of the car and as I watched Attie play with his friends outside. I just sat on the stairs holding this sweet sleepy babe.
Our trip was fun, but it sure feels good to be home.
