Top 9. In 2017 I visited three new countries, marched in DC, celebrated 20 years of marriage, was awarded game MVP for the first time, became the mom of a high schooler, saw Hamilton, dyed my hair blue.
But I also lost my job and cried about it a lot and then got it back and cried about it some more. And worried about money, family, politics and cried about those a lot too. Family moved, loved ones struggled, I did stupid stuff, I’m unhappy with my body. I procrastinated and wasted a lot of time on my phone. I have a hole in my roof that is leaking, and no snow tires for my car. I just don’t instagram about those things.
I know 2018 will bring adventures of all sorts, and I’ll share some of them, but probably not all of the ones I should. I hope I can be kinder to myself and to all of you in the year to come. ❤️
Definitely a white Christmas 🎄
A little classic viewing while I cook dinner ❄️🎄
Me, putting some doodads on a dead bush... in the true holiday spirit of course. 🎄
I made homemade ramen and oh my goodness I’m now a very big fan of me. And yum.
Last post from our adventure. Final day was zip lining through a gorgeous valley, go carts, and swim time. Getting home was easy, being home will take some adjustment 😉
We celebrated Thanksgiving by jumping off a bunch of waterfalls. Thankful for these dudes, for my loved ones I’m not with, for the chemical invention of sunscreen, for health and adventure and blessings that abound. Happy Thanksgiving friends!
