One year ago today, as I rode a Citibike home from work, I had a gut feeling that it would be a night I would remember. I stopped the bike, took a deep breath, and snapped a photo of the kayakers paddling while the sun set. Lo and behold, 30 minutes later @sapochat asked me to spend the rest of our lives together. Easiest decision I've ever made. #tbt

I started listening to the podcast The Bowery Boys and each episode details a neighborhood, landmark, or custom in New York City. The most recent episode was about how SoHo came to be the touristy neighborhood it is today - it wasn't always like that! There used to be brothels! Highly recommend if like both nerding out on history and NYC.
