It's the second one (although I normally do love this writing spot). But yesterday I had one of the roughest days on this book writing journey and a complete crisis of confidence. So hard when you're creating something personal not to get shaken up and I know this is part of the process. But whoa, yesterday was tough.
If you're going through a crisis of confidence what I can share is to keep going. Reach our for support -- I'm grateful to have a publisher and editor I could get in touch with and who had smart and comforting words to share. Nurture yourself - I had an inclination to stay up all night working but knew that I needed rest. Be gentle with your inner voice - this is hard, you're doing your best, keep doing. 💖#gratitude#happiernow#bepresent
Monday gratitudes: I'm grateful for a warm cup of tea with tons of milk after a chilly walk.

I'm grateful for being able to edit my book while comfortably sitting in my favorite chair, wrapped in a blanket. I'm grateful to have such thoughtful hardworking editors helping me in this process.
I'm grateful for two soft-boiled eggs for breakfast that always remind me of my childhood.

Feeling totally overwhelmed with what I need to get done and paused to remind myself to be freaking GRATEFUL for having so much work that brings me meaning, for having so many things to learn and create.
This isn't easy to do, I won't lie - to accept that I actually won't be able to get through all the bajillion things on my to-do list. But I feel less overwhelmed when I consider that I'm not actually supposed to get trough it all, that there is always some else to do, build, discover.
We aren't meant to "get it all done." I mean, if we got it all done, what would be left?;) So here's hoping that my reminder can also help release a bit of your stress today. #gratitude#happiernow#bepresent
