3 years ago in NYC versus now in PDX. Some things have changed--our hairstyles, last names, number of babies (we're outnumbered now); but one thing that has remained constant is our friendship and sisterhood. I love how we try to go on these annual girls' trips. Now our men are catching on and are going on one too 🙄. I am grateful for this weekend of belly aching laughs (and some tears!), full and well fed stomachs, emptier wallets and more memories to look back on one day. I love you girls!!! Where to next?!
September flew by quickly and now we're in my favorite month--October, #birthdaymonth! It's the perfect time for me to reflect on my past year and look forward to what's in store.
As I get older, I'm starting to realize what's most important. Growing up takes hard work, balance, and accepting the reality that life goes on whether you show up or not. It's challenging to budget your time with work, family life and personal obligations, which makes relationships even harder to make or keep. "The key to long-lasting friendships, I think, is to weed out the ones who keep letting you down — not just once, but over and over — and to hang on to those who keep showing up." I'm thankful to those who continue to be there for me, I will not take you for granted ❤️ #qualityoverquantity
