My wife had booked tickets for the #colorfactorysf about a month ago. I had no clue what it was. I didn't look up what it was since I didn't want to lose the surprise element. It took some time before my son warmed up to the setting. He simply had a blast after that. What you see here is a pit filled with yellow balls. It actually feels like a million balls in there held together by some force.
The centrifugal force drawing the balls into the water is always a fascinating sight to watch. #museum#waterplay
Escaping the long weekend bay area heat with a visit to #ikea Two things all over the place - shelves and my son. #toddlerlife#toddler His idea of fun is pushing the stroller with his little sister all over the place without assistance, which means enormous amount of patience required from our side. One of the most used words when I am with my son is NO. #hotday#california#bayarea#toddlertantrum
I couldn't find a kindle digital copy for this book. So, I got a physical copy from the library. It definitely felt different. Of course I had to put up with my wife constantly telling me to switch off the lights at night. Anyway it was a great read for the week and Kavita Kane has written a wonderful book. Karna is one of the most fascinating characters in the Mahabharata and his wife Uruvi is a strong minded lady. Makes for interesting chemistry and interesting reading. #mahabharat#books#epic#mythology#india
UPDATE: I read that Uruvi was more a result of dramatic license and not a real character in the epic. That was bit of a damp squib.
I love reading about people's experiences. Sudha Murthy's narrative should contain some interesting tidbits. My wife ordered these books but any guesses as to who is going to get to them first? Books for next week. #books#experience#lifestory
Twenty years later, these kids would have gone out of touch and would be telling their friends, "we used to play cricket in our apartment complex in a small space and it used to be so much fun. Those were the times!" #nostalgia#future#cricket#apartment#india#kids
I am trying to find the page that has Saraswati, the goddess of learning, with the Veena. En route, I see Rama wielding the bow. #bookstagram#childrensbooks#kids
