Wow!! I just finished my very last consultation ever at the Writing Center. This job has made me feel so incredibly capable and confident in my ability to empower others and their voices. I’m so grateful for the 18 months that I got paid to talk to brilliant folks about concepts like colonialism, drones, graduate applications, heteronormative views of the “traditional family,” and the Gospel of Judas, etc. (That was just today) It definitely helped that most of my consultations were writing some really woke stuff. I’m going to miss you UWC 😢
It really helps that all my consultations this week were with STELLAR people.

Today was a great day. After years of construction, both Republic Square Park and the new Austin Central Library are open. Cheers to enjoying Austin a little extra!
