I was born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado in the USA. I have three amazing sisters. I've got two loving parents. We had tons of pets and I had to constantly clean out the cat litter box (I hated that chore). Sadly my parents got divorced but they were still great parents. I played basketball because I was tall but I never excelled because I didn't put in the daily practice. I did a ton of "good-kid" stuff like Student Council and led Bible Studies. I grew up a very strong Christian but I'm not religious now. I lot of the principles I grew up with like "Treat other people like you want to be treated" still guide me today.⠀
So that's a little more about me and my upbringing. Would love to learn more about you all if you want to share! 🙌
I'm not anti-college. I'm just pro-student.⠀

Who’s a believer?
Love my messy desk some days. Other days I don’t understand why I don’t clear out all the clutter. Anyone else have LEGO on their desks?
I’d like to give away 4 of these awesome Memento Mori Medallions I bought from @ryanholiday ($25/each).⠀
These coins are designed with the intention of carrying them in your pocket, a literal and inescapable reminder that “you could leave life right now.”⠀
Each coin is handcrafted in the United States by a custom mint operating in Minnesota since 1882. The same mint where the iconic AA anniversary medallions were created in 1973 by Bill Westman, an employee. Westman wanted to create something to leave with people he interacted with in recovery groups and to mark their achievements in sobriety. To remind them of the messages of AA and help keep them on their road to recovery. Westman’s advice was “carry this in your pocket or purse and when temptation is great, reach into your pocket and feel the medallion and remember your struggle to get this far.”⠀
If you'd like a enter to win one of the medallions, please leave a comment and share why it's very important to you to daily remember that life is short. It'd be great if you could also tag 1-2 friends that might be encouraged by your comment.⠀
One of the big themes in my life is remembering that life is short and that I could die any time, so wanted to share this with you all! ❤️
I created a wall of photos of happy memories with @carsoncuttingroom and my kids. It makes me smile every time I pause and look at it. Need to stop and look at it more often. Life gets busy (and I yell at my kids for not brushing their teeth fast enough 😕 and other stupid stuff) and I forget to really dig into being grateful.
The Dunk Wall is one of the fun obstacles at @spartanrace 😀 Cools you off so you can keep cranking 🙌
Had a blast getting interviewed yesterday by a talented YouTuber named Chris Sean!
He taught himself how to code using @teamtreehouse and now works as a Developer 🙌👍
My 4:30am office. It’s quiet in my kitchen in the morning and I get a crazy amount of things done.
We dug our our old Atari 2600 and got it working! Pitfall is hilarious 😆
