Sunsets in Lapland were glorious. Different colors every day like the sun had different color gels on and someone was dimming it 😜It would gradually get brighter starting at 10 am with a beautiful pink cast and 4 hours later sun would set with all color intensity of the gel picked that day. Sometimes it was orange sometimes purple like in this photo.
Experiencing Lapland is possibly one of the most important experiences of my life so far. I’ve never seen anything like this land visually and spiritually. Including the incredible warmth of Finnish people. With only 2-3 hours of day light and freezing cold they still manage to create the warmth around their homes and share it with visitors.
