All these new sights, new smells, and new experiences leave much for a little one's brain to process.

...because photos of nephews (especially smiling new ones) are wonderfully joyfilled things.

Welcome to the big wide world, Matthew Kenneth Rogers.

What a jam-packed week. One rolercoaster ride after another. Plans? Lol! One failed and severely-altered plan after another, each one affected by unforeseen complications. Yet graciously and cohesively woven together into a splendidly unforgettable time with wonderful, caring people.

Ah wow, glad you're ok! Sounds like a stressful day!

@kerynmel it got caught in a catfight with a Nissan Pathfinder. When one goes through the hassle of buying a good car, they generally want to keep it for longer than ONE MONTH!! Grr. So what happened? About half an hour after dropping dad off to pick up his fixed car, I had stopped and was slowly turning right at a T-intersection onto a quiet, almost abandoned country road. Then I wasn't. My head was resting in a smelly white fabric thing with smoky / gunpowder stuff floating around (that was the drivers' airbag), I lifted my head up to the sound of the hazards and took in the surroundings: my car was facing the opposite direction, and there was a big 4WD next to me. I could see people walking around, and instinctively knew I had been in an accident and quickly assumed I was legally at fault. I forced the door (it didn't open freely), hopped out and apologised a few times while piecing the mental puzzle together. They were coming from my right, I drove into their path quite slowly, they tried to slow down and swerve around me but couldn't completely avoid me, they hit the front corner of my vehicle, spinning me around and causing both vehicles to quickly stop moving. Theirs might be repairable- mine isn't. All of us are happy and thankful just to be alive, and consider still having full use of our extremities a wonderful blessing!

Just the work mascot falling asleep ‘on my lap’. Not only do cats have nine lives, but they also seem to have a completely unique definition for the word ‘comfortable’. #sleepingCat #TheWorkingLife #furbabies

70dB of pure sheep bleating goodness. What a lovely way to wake up in the morning. If I've learned anything recently, sheep aren't good at being discrete.

Reminds me of the shenanigans just after the Israelites attacked Amalek. 1 Samuel 15:13-14:
“Then Samuel went to Saul, and Saul said to him, ‘Blessed are you of the Lord! I have performed the commandment of the Lord.’ But Samuel replied ‘What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?’” For Saul was commanded not to recover any of the livestock, and that's exactly what he had tried to do discretely.

Last time I checked, that wasn't how the front of the car looked. Oh the joys of Roos! Thankfully God's angels kept me safe, calm & sane. That could have been FAR far worse. #CountingMyBlessings

Yes, again! Grr. This time, although technically drivable, the cooling system wasn't functioning so I thought it best to save the engine from being cooked. I've come to the conclusion that Roos are stupidly incompetent things and should not be allowed on the roads!!

Looking through the kitchen window provided a great vantage point for Sabbath morning’s sunrise on the ‘farmstead’. Zebedee waiting patiently for its journey to Canberra. As usual, its driver is fluffing about taking photos of moody clouds and orange beams of light falling on the trees and the shed.

I like my new driveway. Everyday the sheep do different things. This time of year it's so lovely watching the lambs frolicking about while the grownup sheep wander around trying unsuccessfully to mind their own business.

Oh the lambs grow so quickly!! #countryLiving
