Happy #funsketchfriday ....I must admit it’s not my favorite day of the week during the holiday season. There is too much to do in too little time, so I had to pull a sketch from my archives. Coming across this one certainly whipped me and my hol-anxiety into shape. This 2 minute sketch is one I drew of my oldest baby girl. One of those nights when I was up late doing a million things and she walked in from somewhere. She had just gotten her license, and she was getting back from either swim or cheer. She sat up on the counter and we talked the night away....as usual. There were so many exciting things happening for her. As I’m writing this the tears are pouring down my face because next year she won’t just be coming home and surprising me with the nice little chats that mean everything to me. She will be in college, on her own, my baby girl. I couldn’t be more excited for this kind, driven, beautiful little wonder I get to call my daughter. I love you Isabella and can’t wait to see where your beautiful big heart, your capacity for learning and good judgement and your enormously driven spirit will take you!!!!!
