As I sit here alone with both of my boys, my mind replays the last 11 months over and over again. The ups, the downs...but most importantly the smile Eriq had on his face as he would tell me about his day! He'd come home and tell me about the love and energy he was putting into the Warrior CBD patch and how excited he was to be able to show the Veterans the benefits of the plants he cared so much about. Eriq, single handedly, took care of those plants. Everyday he'd wake up at 5am and start his day out with his plants nurturing them with all of his knowledge. The time he spent on that patch was exactly what he needed. Being able to focus on something bigger than himself for once made his mental health a lot more manageable. Knowing he had a place to go, with only positive thoughts, with something to keep his mind off of his reality...he needed that. So, here we are now...back to square one. I'm trying to pick up the pieces. I'm trying to build him back up. I'm trying to show him there is a tomorrow. I'm trying to tell him there is something better out there. But for today, we are still living with yesterday. I will pick up the pieces... #veteranscaregiver#ptsd#veteranwithptsd#orbitshow#cannabisforveterans#cannabisforptsd#cbdforptsd#wfwp#veteranwife#karma
Thank you to all the Veterans who have served our country- giving up your autonomy, individualism and own sense of freedom for our country.
It's a shame our government doesn't take care of you the way it should and needs to.
Cannabis should be an option for all those suffering from PTSD and the over-medicating of pharmaceutical drugs.
Much love and peace to those who served.
