Repost from @mikastefano using @RepostRegramApp - Russian Twists are one of my favourite core/ab workouts. Here I am performing a Russian Twist with two light dumbbells at @planetfitnessza. You can also do it with a wighted plate or wothout any weight at all - depending on your fitness level. If you struggle to keep both feet off the ground, try keep one foot off the ground. As you gain confidence, lift both feet off the ground. If you advance, I suggest bring the weight all the way up and then over into that twist. Can’t believe I’m posting this! 🙊 I’m so disgusted by the way I just had let myself go! When I seen the picture of myself on the left, I immediately realized that I needed to do something about my weight and health. Yesterday, I had a few people that I haven’t seen very often lately tell me that “I’m looking good and they can tell that I’m losing the weight” 🙃 of course my replies are always something like “omg your lying, not evennnn or shaddap I don’t believe you”. I had to really let it sink into my head last night. Today after my workout I sat down and decided to take a picture of myself TODAY and compare it next to a picture just before I started using Herbalife Products! 💚 Guyssss I seriously can’t believe this! Frustration. I don't know about you but I continually struggle with my mid-section - more specifically, digestive issues. Absolutely drives me crazy and could potentially cause me to give up - but I refuse to let it. I

I like to keep my Instagram as honest and open as possible as there is so much research showing how social media is causing men and women to have unrealistic body ideals. 🤦🏼♀️☹️
I want to talk about getting the perfect photo or video of your body with angles, lighting and posing.
As you can see in this video just from doing a slightly different flexed pose my booty looks much bigger than when I am just relaxed and not posing.🍑 The lighting is also really bright in this room which doesn't help create shadows etc.. using certain lighting will make you look more defined etc.
The second photo is a flexed and posed photo from a while ago when I was all brown ☹️😪 but again you can see the big difference between posing and being relaxed... Instant booty gains !
So please guys be aware before you compare yourself to another on Instagram and feel bad about yourself, as that the photo your comparing yourself too might of have over 20 takes, the right lighting and be ridiculously posed 💪🤷🏼♀️ It's good to have role models and good to have people who help motivate you but don't compare yourself to others.. you are your own unique person and that's truly beautiful 💚
