I learnt last year that not every run has to be run at a super challenging pace. It doesn't matter if it's not 'the' pace that allows you to run a race in a certain time, because it doesn't mean that's the pace you'll race at.
Sometimes the challenge lies in getting yourself out of bed & JFDI. T'was nice to run a few miles at an 8.something pace this morning. No pressure, no stressing about wet leaves hindering my time 🙄 just the feeling of having done it 💪🏽 #TeamEnertor#runningfortheloveofit
⭐️Day 6 of the #rlybalanceandcore challenge!! ⭐️Bird dog (10 on each side) 🐤🐶Another one of my favourites! Thanks @steph_steeples for the reminders to keep the belly button in to keep the back flat! (Sometimes I forget and my back arches a little when the leg extends)👍🏼 Thanks to @runnersloveyoga for the challenge, as well! .
A great addition to my 8 miles on this beautiful, blustery day! These miles were happy and comfortable and most of them happened to be around MP! That's great because my next cycle will be about getting uncomfortable to get comfortable at a NEW MP! 👍🏼 But for now, I'm just going to run for the love of it, and run what feels good.
Outside runs have upsides and down sides. For me the upside is the sights I see and the people or buffalo I smile at. This buffalo is #smilinggg at me. Downside is humidity and I run slower. #runningfortheloveofit
Be around those who challenge and inspire you to get out of your comfort zone. When @tecube said "We are going to run 6 miles" we agreed never having run 6 miles before. There was a point that I wasn't sure I could do it but we just kept going. We did 6 miles in 1 hour and 14 minutes. Not too bad for our first time! Thank you Fred for pushing us!! This is life! This is living!! Get up! Get moving!! I promise you that you will not regret it!! #runningfortheloveofit#herbalifeisforeverybody#whoinspiresyou#whochallengesyoutobebetter
