Decided to put my big girl panties on and get some miles in his morning! Thank goodness I have a crew to meet up with, because seeing this this morning didn't make me want to get up, but knowing they were waiting on me got me outta bed!! Now I need to get serious and crush those miles before the Sockout50 challenge is over! Currently it looks like I'm in 72nd place with a wimpy 16.8 miles! The leader has over 100!!! This is why I love doing challenges, keeps yah motivated!
Have you ever tried taking a picture of 4 kids age 6 and under who are just meeting their new baby brother for the first time? Well this is what it looks like 🙈 we welcomed our newest little one to the family last week and we couldn't be more in love! I am patiently waiting for the day that I get to press play and start working out again but for now, I'm trying to relax and adjust to being a mom of 5 and getting whatever sleep I can 💙
Unfortunately this is about the limit to Christmas decor around our house these days. The lone box of games to play as we break from packing. It’s funny how not decorating is actually making me search deeper for the season. I don’t have that giddy Christmas spirit feeling. But this year I am able to really see the true gifts we have had. The friendships, the house that protected us, the crazy dog who is utterly confused as to how long a trip we are taking this time, and the neighborhood we live in. Today I sat at a red light and took in my world. It’s funny how in this giant city I could look around and a one light I knew the lady out for a run, could see magnets from our church and school, and go from one place to another without much thought. I know that the road ahead is uncertain and is a great step for our family. But this year I am going to enjoy reflecting on the gifts my Atlanta home has offered and know that they will continue to serve me in the future. #christmasgifts#wemustbecrazy#feelingalittlehomesickalready
