New trainers from @ecoalf - Made from 59% recycled plastic bottles! The company also pay fisherman to collect marine plastic & recycle this into their products 🙌🏻
A 24 mile round trip cycle to Rivington Pike, sore legs and a potentially bricked iPhone because it rained so hard... but the view at the top was ace
My new @jerrybottle bottle arrived in the post! No more plastic water bottles & 100% of the profits go to charity. There's even the coordinates of the water project this bottle helped fund etched on the bottom (this one helped a project in Tanzania)
Spent a couple of hours paddleboarding on the canal in Rochdale helping to clean up the plastic & litter for @plastic_patrol! We got a mountain of stuff out, including a bike, zimmerframe, 2 giant work fences, pipes, lino, and a stack of plastic bottles.
Thanks to @lizzie_outside who's running the #plasticpatrol events up and down the country, she's doing some incredible work, definitely check out the website & get involved if you can.
Bought a @keepcup to cut out the need for a takeaway coffee cup! Love it so far, plus Costa offer a discount when you take your own mug 👌🏻
This renovation has taken ages, but it looks like it's going to be an incredible space

Popping back into Instagram for the end of the month, my favourite picture over the past few weeks is the view from @joe_bangles' new house!
I haven't posted for a while and I'm guessing not many people have noticed but I'll explain why anyways! At the start of the new year I realised I was pretty much addicted to my phone, I couldn't go to a different room without having it on me. So I decided to do something about it, deleted FB, Twitter & Instagram off my phone and anything else that was breaking my attention. I'm telling you there has been no downside to doing this. I love posting photos to Instagram but I've been thinking a lot about why I post things - is it for likes? Comments? Or do I just like taking photos? Ultimately it's the latter. So I've decided to change how I use Instagram and only post at the end of each month, a few images I've taken, my favourites from the month prior, then I'll delete it again! That way I'm not fixated on likes, comments, and followers.
So here's my picture for January, I finally settled on a new watch so that I don't have to check my phone for the time! Another way of trying to kick the habit!
