THE WHEEL : Last week I learned I didn't win a pitch because my ideas were too far out. I could be angry at the client's lack of vision (might have been for a bit!) or I could quietly respect the phrase "don't reinvent the wheel". It taught me that in digital we're often searching for new and innovative, but just because the technology is new, doesn't mean the ideas always have to be. #innovation
THE ARTICHOKE : The mound of leaves on the right are the stuff you have to get through to reach the heart (on the left), and when you do, it's tiny, but tastes incredible. A reminder of the input / output equilibrium.
