it was all there
thousands of cars used to cross this autobahn near Cologne every day - now it’s abandoned. like several villages nearby, it had to be relocated to make room for the mining operations in Europe’s largest brown coal field. i captured this scene while exploring the topic of climate change in Germany for @dw_stories. check out their stories this week for more.
wild for a while
the first thing I did after coming back to berlin was to check out the new rehang and installations at @boccidesign’s berlin showroom. make sure to put this on your list if you’re planning a berlin visit.
back to berlin
also a little reminder about my recent giveaway with @nikondeutschland which ends on tuesday. so if you currently live in Germany and would like win a portrait shoot in Berlin with me, make sure to comment with 📸 under my announcement post from last week.

some days we get lost and stay lost
after spending the night in Wadi Rum we’re finally on our way to the Dead Sea, which will be the last stop on our #ShareYourJordan tour. so looking forward to the floating part and of course it‘s gonna be all over my stories. have a look if you wanna see more of Jordan.
the many faces of petra
needless to write something about petra as words can’t even describe what the Nabateans have accomplished here more than 2000 years ago.
where the dreamers go
the most beautiful desert sunset with some even more beautiful company. i think i could stay here for a while.
taken close to #FeynanEcoLodge, which is quite an interesting experience. famous for its authentic bedouin hospitality and natural beauty, Feynan Ecolodge is one of the best 25 ecolodges worldwide according to @natgeotravel. haven‘t felt so relaxed in years, also because of the lack of electricity and internet.
now i can‘t wait to show you Petra tomorrow but feel free to check my stories for a little preview.
24h in amman
our jordan adventure started with a full day of exploring amman, its bustling and picturesque capital. can’t even describe how much i enjoyed this view during sunset. now we’re off to the desert with some great plans for the next few days.
