I asked Coltrane if he could entertain Jude while I washed dishes. I turned to check on them and he had made 'boats' so they could sail the sea together. Melt my heart a million times over kid. ❤
Hubba hubba. With Fall comes exploring with exciting squashes thanks to @ronnigersorganics ❤
More peaches...because I'm 🍑 crazy.
It got down to 32 a couple nights ago, it's Fall yo. ✌🏼Loving my @oldhomesteadalpacas naturally dyed alpaca hat. Find them in her shop!
Thankful for moments like these, when car naps mean I can get a few rows in on a knit + yarn that has single handedly rejuvenated my knitting mojo. 💃 New design coming next Spring for @makingzine 👌🏼
I came back from finishing the podcast yesterday and found that somehow papa had worked his ✨and got this little chubby cheeked nugget to sleep. 🙌🏼 This is my favorite age (I say that at every age 😂)

I don't really understand the level of grace bestowed on us as new farmers. Things often can go wrong and they do, but many times we are also saved from bearing the burden of lessons learned the hard way. Yesterday our sweet new pup Shadow became sick and we weren't sure what was wrong. As the night progressed, she got much worse as we continued to clean her up and syringe water and colloidal silver into her mouth. This morning the vet confirmed that she has Parvo and while she now appears to be on the mend and will spend the night at their office hooked up on fluids and meds, it was a close call. One I really can't bear to think of the consequences of. Gosh, I love our dogs. 😭#shadowthesheepdog
We're sausaging today. So grateful for the bounty our farm provides and the people we get to share it with. 🙏🏼 #raiseyourownmeat (if you can 😉)
Yesterday we rivered, today we are stuck inside because the smoke is so dang bad. Hoping the rains come and thankful for all the firefighters 🌾
